ADATA is long been known for making really good DRAM, SSD and other flash storage. One of their biggest strengths is in manufacturing high-performing DRAM modules.

ADATA is the 2nd largest supplier of DRAM in the world. One of their newest in the line-up is the XPG V2 Series.

The XPG V2 are designed for 4th-generation Intel Core processors and the Z87 platform. This particular variant has a speed of up to 14933 MB/s peak transfer and timings of CL 10-11-10-30 at 1.5V. This makes it appropriate for systems which are built for hard-core gaming.

The PCBs are encased in thick aluminum spreaders that expand beyond the size of the DIMMs (the modules look kick-ass). This gives it more surface area for heat dissipation, resulting in better stability and performance.

The modules look really cool after sticking them inside my gaming rig. Each stick has a 4GB memory capacity and they come in pairs, with a total of 8GB.

The gaming rig that we used to test the RAM modules run on an Intel Core i7 3770k 3.4GHz, 8GB ADATA XPG V2 DDR3 RAM, ADATA SP910 256GB, an Asus GeForce GTX 680 all under a brand new CoolerMaster Cosmos S.

ADATA is so confident with their RAM modules they’ve made all ADATA memory modules come with a lifetime limited warranty.
